CAN NAVIGATOR SAVE PASSWORDS LIKE IE

PROBLEM

One of the good features of Internet Explorer is  its ability to save the usernames and passwords of sites that require them for access. The next time you then connect to these sites, IE will automatically fill these details in. However, Netscape Navigator can't do this by default.

SOLUTION

One way around this problem is to download a useful add-on that performs the same password logging functions and a lot more. The add-on is called Gator. When you go to a web site that Gator can work with, and this is almost all, which require a username and passord then a window will pop up, giving you the chance to log in to the site with a single click. You can also enter lots more information about yourself into Gators database, including your postal address, credit card details and so on. When you then go to a site that needs you to fill these in, if you're shopping online for example, you can drag and drop entries into your browser to save tedious typing. You can download Gator from HERE.
